◆Direct printing ink for pharmaceuticals (tablets)
We have been working on the development of inkjet inks for Pharmaceuticals (tablets) printing since 2014.
We believe that marking tablets and capsules with easily identifiable markings is one of the effective measures to prevent accidental ingestion and misuse of medicines, and it is also useful in considering countermeasures against the increasing number of accidents in recent years where medicines are swallowed with their PTP wrapping sheets.
Currently, it is widely used in generic drugs etc but we will continue to develop further and enhance our product lineup.
◆Direct printing ink for foods
We believe that edible inkjet inks for food are not limited to "food decoration" such as printing on confectionery and latte art, as is the case today, but will expand to the following applications in the future, and we are developing and proposing inks to meet customer needs with our technology in a wide range of fields.
→ Alternative foods, cultured foods, complete nutritional foods, nursing care foods,
etc.
→ Direct marking of food products (lots, expiry dates) for the purpose of packaging
material reduction and safety management
→ Other fields such as the adoption of edible inks as safer and more sustainable
printing inks, etc.
◆Resources Recycling
We convert all waste plastic and paper waste (several tons/month) from our factories into RPF (Refuse Paper and Plastic Fuel), which is reused as fuel for boilers at paper and steel mills and as fuel for incineration at cement and lime manufacturing plants.
◆Efficiency of container loading
Since 2018, we have been working on the packaging and loading methods of thermal ribbons (thermal transfer ribbons) for container exports.
We have increased the loading volume per container by about 25% (as of 2023), by improving the methods which leads us reducing the number of overseas shipments and greenhouse gas emissions from ocean and land transportation.
◆Working environment
We are committed to providing a workplace environment for our employees and their families, regardless of nationality, gender, or age, where they can maintain their health, work safely and comfortably, and enjoy diverse work styles.
→ Promotion of telework
→ Enhancement of systems for childcare/nursing care leave and shorter
working hours
→ Implementing work environment management, safety and health education,
and stress checks
→ Review education systems and work rules as needed, in accordance with
compliance-oriented initiatives such as harassment, information leakage, etc.
